ABOUT US

Currently living in Rural Gippsland, Ally Row are an indie pop-folk/country folk duo that are breaking the barriers of genres with toe-tapping yet emotive music.

 

The multi-instrumentalists perform velvety harmonies alongside blissful guitar and piano, with modernised elements of banjo, harmonica and stomp box. Together, the two-piece band create a powerful synergy with heartfelt memorable originals that will get you dancing.  For the, Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers, Sons of the East; The Civil Wars and Of Monsters and Men fans out there...Ally Row are the next artists to follow. 

 

In 2022, the duo completed a booked out East Coast Tour; Battle of the Buskers Finalist at Buskers by the Lake, Buskers by the Lake Fest, Cairns Fest, Tablelands Folk Fest, Munkey Fest and opening for Blue Mountains music troubadour Jonathon Bone. This year, they won the Port Fairy Folk Festival Busking Competition, are Semi-Finalists in the Listen Up Music Songwriting Prize for their single 'Bare feet', opened for Western Australian indie-folk duo Salt Tree, opened for The Settlement at Longwood Festival, opened for Sunday Lemonade and Shmone at Jetty Road Brewery's Easter Festival and are growing a rapport in the Gippsland community with back to back performances - including Tarra Festival, East Gippsland Winter Festival and opening for Americana Folk artist Matt Joe Gow at Sandy Point Music.

 

They are set to play at the 2023 Patchewollock Music Festival as well as the Wodonga North East Food & Wine Fest in October, as part of a Northern Victorian Rural tour and in the Woodford Folk Festival Lineup December/Jan 2023/24.
